About Me (In My Own Words)
I am a 51yr.old female, dx with mitral valve prolapse years ago. Have been followed since about 1976. Have had a few dizzy spells and palpitations recently and went in for my 6 month check up and my echo changed and the ekg wasn't looking too good. Had a heart cath, that was good (artery wise), but needed to have surgery. Met with the surgeon Nov.5th, loved him. Having surgery Dec7th. They are repairing the valve, and also made mention that my tri-cuspid valve was leaking a bit, and I have atrial fibulation. I am scared sh------, needless to say. Would love to hear from someone in same or similar situation. I am in Michigan
