About Me (In My Own Words)
I am the wife of Jay Rain. Jay is suffering from Heart problems and is incarcerated at Columbia River corrections. He was told 3 weeks ago that he needs open heart surgery. His EKG'S have stayed at level 4. There's swelling in his heart and there's a hole between the valves as well as regurgitation.. It has become very difficult for him to breathe, he is feeling weaker by the day, and literally told me that he feels like he is fading away- that he feels like he doesn't have much longer. His oxygen levels have stayed around 75-80% the past week. He's been real nauseous without appetite and had been having confusion and is always extremely fatigued.. There is no surgery scheduled for him at this time- even though the specialist that's been seeing him stated that surgery needs to happen "very soon"..
I don't know what to do. I have been literally watching him slowly die, as we have video visits almost daily... Is he dying? Or does he just feel like it? I need help with this, I am so scared I'm gonna lose him!!
