About Me (In My Own Words)
I keep being told by different cardiologists that De Mussett's sign is a late stage sign, but they won't confirm it and only tell me that it's not happening to me because my ejection fraction isn't bad enough. It was bad enough at one point, prior to losing my insurance and subsequently being treated as an anxiety patient, and drug seeker, for years. The only reason I can see for not doing my surgery now, as opposed to waiting until my heart is thoroughly damaged (causing a huge increase in morbidity), is so this country can save money. This is unfair as this should've been diagnosed when I was a kid, but Kaiser can't diagnose a massively protruding hernia for 20 years, let alone anything having to do with the heart.
