About Me (In My Own Words)
TAVR to replace the aortic valve which was surgically replaced in 2016, and had reached the end of its useful life. Proceedure went very smoothly, with only one night stay in the hospital. Still have severe mitral stenosis, and am awaiting hospital approval of the new Edwards Sapien M3 transcatheter mital valve. Currently having difficulty controlling my blood pressure due to a very wide spread between diastolic and systolic.
