My Wife, Kathleen, had a leaking Mitral valve, Tricuspid valve and has had A-Fib for a decade. Her strength, endurance, breathing have been moving in a downward direction. Kaiser referred us to USC Keck and to Dr Craig Butler, Chief of Surgery there. What a blessing and what many thanks we owe to he as well as all the Staff in the ICU, Fifth Floor East and South for their compassion, care and expertise. The surgery went better than expected and Dr Baker was able to repair her valves, giving us the best of Christmas gifts ever. His calm demeanor, direct explanations and constant monitoring got my wife home after 8 days, where she is recovering smoothly. Thank you from the Carter Family and Merry Christmas.
