About Me (In My Own Words)
I had been going to my cardiologist for 7 or 8 years in Asheville, NC. My last appointment (Oct.2018) I was advised that it was time to replace the valve. Unfortunately family matters required me to seek surgery in Florida, my winter home. I was most fortunate that a close friend has a son working in the Sarasota hospital and I was able to be referred to a Dr. Yaryura a cardiologist. Upon his test it was determined that I was a candidate for minimaly invasive surgery. I received a bovine valve along with other procedures including a pacemaker implant. The Doctors and care received from Sarasota Memorial are beyond exceptional.
