About Me (In My Own Words)
My 1st surgery was in 1999 at Maimondes Hospital in Brooklyn NY. I had my Aortic and Mitral valves replaced with mechanical valves. My second surgery was done in 9/15/20 in North Carolina. My Aortic valves was replaced and my Tricuspid valve was replaced with a pig valve.. I was short of breath, tired all the time, climbing and even walking would have me stop walking after less than a block or 1 flight of stairs. After the 2nd surgery i was left with fatigue, shortness of breath, and A-fib., and Edema. I am on blood thinners and a lot of other medications. 26 years of dealing with CHF, is a headache and a burden. At 69, I thought my health would be better.
