About Me (In My Own Words)
I’ve had a heart murmur for as long as I can remember. Last year, my PCP said she noticed a change and suggested I get an EKG. One echo and heart cath later, I had a consult with the same surgeon who removed a mixoma in my mother’s heart 4 years ago. The only thing I heard was bypass and heart valve replacement. But, before I could schedule, I had to see a dentist. Yep, hadn’t been since High School, so had to go! Thank goodness my teeth ate still in great shape, but my gums need tlc. Surgery will likely be the end of August/early September!
