About Me (In My Own Words)
I am having my Aortic valve replaced, with a triple bypass... in St.Agnes,Fresno.Ca....by Dr. Richard Gregory.
A friend of mine, bought me Adam Pick's book, to help me . Although my surgery date is set... I find myself having a problem with which valve I want...tissue or a mechanical heart valve. One day I decide one, the next I change my mind. It must be a form of denial, hoping it will all just go away.
I have been trying for 2 months to get past the anger/fear and have a positive attitude. It is not easy, as I am finding out.
