About Me (In My Own Words)
My Mother, G_d bless her, had a pro-lapse valve which my younger brother and I both inherited last year on May 31st 2010 I broke my #13 rib, which is over the heart and I think that is what caused my valve to rip. I am a photographer in my 70's and I have been documenting the building of the #2 tower at Ground Zero since September of 2008. To get into the pit I had to climb down 150 steps, which wasn't too bad but the climb back up was very strenuous. I have noticed lately that I get out of breath while shooting since not only am I carring 2 cameras but also a bag with 4 extra lens. I discovered the ripped valve in November of 2010 and then had to go through many tests prior to surgery plus I had several commitment ( speaking engagments )in March, April and May and two weddings that i wanted to attend. On July 11th I will enter Mt. Sani for pre-testing and the next day they will cut me open like a lobster.
