About Me (In My Own Words)
My father is Paul. He was 81 and not doing well because of aortic stenosis from a bad heart valve. The day after his birthday we went to the consultation with the surgeon and he was admitted to the hospital. He was told he had 2 weeks to 2 months to live if he did not have the surgery. He now has a cow valve and is back at the gym every day !!! He is amazing!! He was diagnosed with CLL about 5 years ago and has not had any treatment to date, His 82nd birthday is April 28th and I am so grateful!! He actually read Adam's book 1 hour before his appointment and being admitted to the hospital. He was grateful for that book as he knew what to expect following surgery. It made a huge difference in his recovery !! I wish he had a computer to read all of these wonderful stories and to share his success !!
