I fired a cardiologist who didn’t listen to me me when my symptoms had progressed and my PCP referred to Dr Mark Pirwitz atthe Valve Clinic at Ascension Seton.
They listened to me - they whole team was in the room including Dr Keesler the cardio thoracic surgeon who works with Dr Pirwitz.. My ethos showed moderate stenosis but my symptom suggested it could be more advanced. They suggested a cardiac cath to confirm what was going on - this was mid January, did the cath on Feb 9th and the TAVR ON 2/29.
Great team, fabulous communication and support, I was their 1,000 TAVR.
Can’t say enough good things, I am now in Cardiac Rehab 3 days a week, love it. Feel secure as I rebuilt my health.
If you don’t think your doctor is listening - find one who will.
