65 yr. old caucasian, generallyfit ,healthy,diagnosed ecently with aortic stenosis, valve opening at.85 was 1.0 a year ago ,am going for evaluation next weekfor most appropiate type of surgery to replace the valve and needless to say am pretty scared and a bit depressedabout my situation.need totalk to someone whohas gone through open heart surgery ., need to know survivability figures....
