About Me (In My Own Words)
My Gp picked up a heart murmur about 15 months ago then diagnosed bicuspid aortic valve with mild regurgitation. 2 months ago follow up check showed severe regurgitation.
I had no symptoms except for palpitations in the last weeks before surgery.
I am now day 11 post surgery at home recovering. I must say I feel great apart from the cracked sternum.
