About Me (In My Own Words)
Recently diagnosed with severe mitral regurgitation. Everyone thinks I am the healthiest person they know and we are all shocked. No suspicions before the murmur was heard, but looking back it seems the chest pain and fatigue might have been clues. Currently needed to decide quickly where to have the surgery done and hoping very much for a repair, but I guess my chances went down a bit when the TEE test showed major damage to the anterior leaflet. Hoping to find a surgeon in Oregon that would be good at repair.
