About Me (In My Own Words)
I had my aortic valve replaced with a mechanical valve April 1, 2009 at St. Lukes Hospital in Houston. I've resumed all my previous activities, running, biking etc. and am glad I had access to the great surgeons and cardiologists at the Texas Heart Institute. My only concern is keeping my INR in range, which has been fairly easy.
