About Me (In My Own Words)
I had open heart surgery 36 years ago when I was 31. My daughter was 9 months old at the time and the mitral stenosis was diagnosed when I was pregnant with her. The surgeon was able to repair the valve.
So, over the last couple of years or so, I have been getting more symptomatic and my cardiologist says it's time for a double valve replacement for mitral stenosis and aortic regurgitation. I have yet to speak with the surgeon. We are newly into this phase.
I am a recently certified life coach and will be coaching myself A LOT through this!
