About Me (In My Own Words)
Recently diagnosed with a heart murmer and than subsequently with Mitral Valve Prolapse with Moderate Regurg. Which meant nothing to me! All new terms and unexpected info for me to understand...interpreting the information from my cardiologist isnt easy. 10 mos later, new echo in hand, now advised my MVP is Mod/Severe Regurgitation and Surgery recommended. I am asymptomatic for the most part - except for some occassional arrythmia. Looks like a great site to get info, connect and read about other's stories, surgeons, and related topics - since I am not sure what I am entering into. Me and my leaky valve.
