Hi all,
It was good to encounter this website. It is comforting to know that there are others that are struggling with decisions about valve options and what surgery/recovery look like for different folks. My cardiologist has sent me to a surgeon who performs the TAVR. Research from 2014 showed that there was increased risk of stroke and kidney damage coming out of TAVR. Does anyone know any more about these issues?
