About Me (In My Own Words)
Husband, Kurt, 65, had aortic valve replacement nov 29th. He came thru the surgery ok, but now is suffering from anxiety, and swelling in the legs and feet. I'm trying to get him up and walking, but it's pretty hard for him. He also has bad feet, so walking was hard before surgery.He thought he'd be better by now. He has to sleep sitting up, because otherwise he gets short of breath, if he tries to lay down. I just found this website, and hope to get some more information on what others have been thru.. We've been back to the cardiologist, and the heart surgeon, and our GP. They all say it just takes time. He's having blood work done every week, for the Warfren dosage.
