About Me (In My Own Words)
Experienced a prolonged arrhythmia in May and went to the ER. I converted to sinus rhythm on my own and was eventually diagnosed with atrial flutter. Had a successful ablation for that 9/28/21.
During the work up for the arrhythmia, aortic valve insufficiency and dilation of the aorta (4.5cm) were found. Saw Dr. Iannacone at Weill Cornell and will have TEE and CT (ultrasound and MRI done previously) to better understand my valve condition and make a plan.
