About Me (In My Own Words)
After many months (maybe years) of being able to hear that my husbands heart beat just didn't sound right, and several months of bugging him to go for a check up, in Oct. 2013 he was diagnosed with severe mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation. November 19, 2013, the day after our 25 anniversary, he underwent open-heart surgery to repair his mitral valve.
