About Me (In My Own Words)
Had no real symptoms but my neighbor (a cardiac nurse) noticed that my skin looked a little grey. She listened to my heart and told me I had a severe heart murmur. Saw my regular doctor and within a few weeks had all the tests and scheduled surgery for November 23rd. Spent 6 days in the hospital and five weeks at home recovering. Have been back at work since the 4th of January and I am so glad to be back to a 'normal' life. We have our first 5K race (we will just be walking!) on February 21st. Our last race was 2 days before my surgery - my husband pushed me in a wheelchair!
If you live near Sacramento Dr Huh is an amazing surgeon and I highly recommend him and his team.
