About Me (In My Own Words)

Mitral valve prolapse with mild regurgitation diagnosed at age 33, which eventually progressed to severe regurgitation. Had a tissue valve replacement in September, 2012, and pacemaker inserted a few days later. My new valve is doing well but we found out a few months ago I now have a mild to moderate tricuspid valve leak, also have developed mild right side heart failure.
