About Me (In My Own Words)
Diagnosed with mild mitral valve regurgitation in 2008. Told then no need to worry. In 2012 I had another echo and it was determined that it had progressed to moderate to severe but cardiologist wanted to wait and watch as long as I wasn't having symptoms. Went to my Dr last week and he decided to do a TEE. found out today with the TEE my mitral valve is severely leaking and will require surgery.
