About Me (In My Own Words)
We knew about my aneurysm for 8 years because of a routine diagnostic test. It was right at 5.0 CM and every year I would get imaging done to make sure it was stable. Over the last couple of years my valve leakage got worse and with that combination something had to be done. Dr. Bowdish and Dr. Cohen from Cedars Sinai were both there to talk me through what to expect. I owe my life to both of those gentlemen. The whole team at Cedars in Pasadena are amazing, and I cannot thank my NP Sunita Boparai for being there to help coach and answer all my many questions. I just feel so blessed that I was working with these surgeons, the Cedars team and Huntington Hospital.
