About Me (In My Own Words)
Have 5 stents. 1st one in 2000, last one Jan 2014. Had a CVA March 2014 while on Plavix and aspirin. Had a cardio loop recorder for AFib 1 year no episodes, removed the recorder and went off Eliquis 7/2015. Another small stroke 1/4/16. Last catheter had LCA and RCA over 90% blockage below existing stents and 83% in Circumflex. Doc would not put in new stents. So looks like it will be bypass surgery in the near future. Awaiting thoracic surgical consult.
Update: Had Double bypass and PFO closure on 1/26/2016.
