About Me (In My Own Words)
Approximately 2 years ago, aged 51, I was going into hopsitaI for minor surgery, an Anaesthetist discovered that I had a heart murmur. I was diagnoised with Aortic Stenosis and they say I may have had it since childbirth, but had no idea. In the beginning I was told that in 5 - 10 years I would need AVR but to my horror things have detoriated and I am now looking at AVR in the next month or so.
