About Me (In My Own Words)
On march 8th 2013 i was rushed to hospital with chest pain that id had for about a week. It had got to the point where i could barely walk because i was in so much pain. I had tests and scans came back as i had fluid around my heart and lungs so i had a drain put into my chest... the fluid was infected i was then rushed to new cross hospital to intensive care to find out also that my liver is enlarged. A week later i had further scans. My consultant maciej came to speak to me and told me i needed an emergency operation thefollowing day. He saved my life and cant thank him enough after knowing i only had 30% chance of pulling through it. All tge cardiothorasic team and the man himself are inspirational.
