About Me (In My Own Words)
Here is my story.
It begin in July 2012 when a doctor tell me that my mitral valve was leaking.I was then follow by a cardiologist. Until in August 2014 i was hospitalize for arrhythmia. Then began a lot of test and i meet my surgeon in December 2014. I was 49 at that time. So we decide that the time was right for me to have the mitral valve repair and also the maze procedure to stop the arrhythmia. The operation was done on march 30, 2015. Everything went very well. I spend a 10 days at the Royal Victoria hospital in Montreal, QC Canada. Then 4 months of convalescence at home. I went back to work last July.
Now i am only taking one pill a day for hypertension. 50 mg of Atenolol.
Everything is well with the exception that since August, i had a few time, experience double vision. It start without warning and last from 2 second to 10 minutes. I've seen my family doctor and my optometrist and they don't see anything that can cause this problem.I'm seeing my cardiologist tomorrow hoping she can help me with this problem.
