About Me (In My Own Words)
Was diagnosed at birth with bicuspid aortic valve, and later diagnosed with unicuspid. Ross procedure @ 24 years old with El-Hamamsey at MT Sinai. He and his team are simply the best. His demeanor is welcoming, compassionate, and considerate. In addition to having incredible hands, he also has a brilliant academic view of the Ross procedure. It is apparent that he has a statistical model in his mind that enables him to infer the best treatment for a patient given their condition. My friends say I literally look a different color since having gotten the Ross done by Dr. El-Hamamsey, and I still have 4 months until I am off my blood pressure medications.
