About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a coarctation of the aorta which was surgically corrected at age 4. Later it was discovered I had a bicuspid aortic valve and aortic stenosis. At age 46 I underwent a Ross Procedure at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, Nm with Dr. Carl Lagerstrom. Twenty years later both valves are working great!
