Had emergency surgery dec 14
Mitral valve completely non functioning
It’s been a long haul
I’m in cardiac rehab now and have 7 more weeks
I’m feeling pretty good except emotionally. I have to force myself to accomplish the tasks I always did.
I’ve been told this is common
I just want to feel like myself again
My memory is horrible too
I stopped pain killers 4 weeks ago
Contemplating seeing a therapist for help with my emotional state
Have any of you experienced this
