I am still researching what would be best for me . I am a 60 yr old hockey player . I feel very very good in exertion /competition. at rest my bicuspid
aorta valve leaks like a siv and i have an enlarged heart now. My carteologist did not feel it necessary to put me under exertion and observe my heart with an ECG. I really feel this should be done to see if my Bicuspid valve becomes effective under exertion ??? I dont know but I have tremendous stamina and energy for my age and no dizzyness tingling or swelling anywhere and tremendous lung /cardio when in exercise . I am concerned /confused - and hoping that maybe this bicuspid valve could be repaired vs. replaced?
