About Me (In My Own Words)
I am 38 years old and was diagnosed with a mumur when I was about 3; turns out it was a bicuspid valve. I have been monitored every 1-2 years at Boston Children's Hospital and on August 15, I was advised I would need to undergo valve replacement surgery. I am scheduled for my procedure on November 3 at Brigham & Women's Hospital. I am scared and anxious and wondering what life will be after the surgery. I have a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters and all I want is a long, normal, life with my family
