About Me (In My Own Words)
I was always was told about my heart murmur being very loud.
After many years a visit to the cardiologist and after many exams I was told I had mitral valve regurgitation. Surgery was suggested as soon as possible.
I found a surgeon in the area that has done many mitral valve repair.
But when the surgery came they couldn’t repair and a replacement took place. The surgeon only showed me the mechanical valve and that’s what they went. One I have colitis and two taking the blood thinners is not fun.
If I could go back, definitely I would choose the tissue valve.
I which it was easy to replace again.
