About Me (In My Own Words)
I have been sick for over 10 yrs. I have fibromyalgia, gastroparesis, COPD, osteoporosis, and severe spinal problems. I have had one spinal surgery on my neck and was preparing for another when a car pulled out in front of me while I was driving. I was sent to a trauma hospital and while they were working me up for injuries, they discovered that I had severe heart problems. after a heart catheritization, and many other tests, they diagnosed me with Rheumatic Heart Disease and wanted to do open heart surgery right then and there. I was dumbfounded and in a lot of pain from the crash and my family had covid so I had no one to talk to. I decided to leave the hospital and get a second opinion.
