About Me (In My Own Words)
Since I discovered that no matter what I try, my scar will not become lighter nor will it blend into my skin. Only recently, I have begun to be comfortable wearing clothes that allow the keloid that grew over my surgical scar to show. Some people stare at me, and say nothing, while others stare and ask what it is. I simply answer precisely. I consider each day to be a gift from God.
