My actual surgery date is not yet scheduled, I still have to have a Heart Cath and TAVR CT Scan. This is my valve story, part 2.
I March of 2022, I had Minimally Invasive OHS to repair mitral valve regurgitation. Unfortunately, that repair failed and in the coming months, I will need a sternotomy to replace my mitral valve and (hopefully) repair, not replace, my tricuspid! I am very thankful I found an incredible surgical team at Morton Plant Hospital for this as I was just not comfortable going back to my original surgeon in Sarasota Fl
