I was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation in 2021. After an active lifestyle and never experiencing any symptoms. You could imagine my fear and surprise once I was told I needed open heart surgery. Now that my successful mitral valve repair is complete. I will advocate for my community to be aware of their heart health.
