About Me (In My Own Words)
Primary care physician found murmur and echocardiogram ordered. Echocardiogram indicated severe aortic valve stenosis. Follow up catheterization indicated 1 artery @ 25% and one at 15%. Others all clear. So isolated valve issue needs to be addressed asap. I preferred TAVR for obvious reasons but was not good candidate due to extent of my valve calcification and my relative young age. Good thing is I don’t have any symptoms. Walking ~50 miles/week and playing pickleball 6-8 hours/week (now stopped due to diagnosis).
