About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a Bi-Cuspid Aortic valve and felt normal my whole life until I developed severe stenosis of the valve in my mid 60's. I had a mini stroke with short term memory loss and it Bi-Cuspid valve and stenosis was discovered then. I determined I wanted a better quality of life for my retirement and requested valve replacement.
