Diagnosed 20 years ago with small leak in mitravalve. Became short of breath and fatigued four years ago. Symptoms became more acute in February of 2020. Made appointment with Cardiologist in March and had surgery April 15. Never saw surgeon after surgery. On May 25 I had a posterior cerebral artery stroke. Visual field defect and alexia were the sequelae. I have continued to have shortness of breath, chest pain and fatigue.
My heart surgeon has refused to see me, and other heart surgeons do not want to take on a patient that has been operated on by another surgeon.
I am so glad this blog is available.
