About Me (In My Own Words)

I had rheumatic fever at 11, diagnosed with aortic regurgitation at 16, and had my aortic valve replaced with an Edwards bovine pericardial valve at 38.

After 21 great years, I am having the valve replaced with the newest model of the Edwards valve.
