About Me (In My Own Words)
Had mitral valve repair surgery on 10/12/11. It was minimally invasive and went well. Have been experiencing visual auras(pre migraine) ever since. Also,I developed a case of viral pleurisy(inflammation of lung lining) 1 month post op. It is most painful and I'm told it could last 2-3 months. I can't move around too much and so my "rehab" has gone out the window and I'm becoming increasinly frustrated and "down". Anyone out there with a similiar experience? Oh, I'm female and 63 yrs old.
