About Me (In My Own Words)
I was born with a bicuspid aortic valve but didn't know it until about 10 years ago. Around 1985, I did learn that I had something different about my heart as the doctors told me that I had a heart murmur during my first pregnancy. They thought it was the mitral valve at the time. I have had no problems but have been monitored since every year.
