I'm now 11 days out from my surgery and I've debated for months now whether I should post about my experience. By nature, I'm a very private person, but It really has come down to this; I've gotten so much out of reading other people's stories that I felt I needed to 'step up' and just maybe, I'll be able to 'pay it forward' for someone else.
