About Me (In My Own Words)
I was scheduled for minimally-invasive mitral valve repair but my ended up with open heart surgery due to bleeding. Then I had a blood clot so they went back in. I was in the ICU for ten days because of afib. I’ve been home a week and overall feel good aside from chest discomfort and intermittent tummy issues.
I’m really glad to be on the other side of my surgery.
