About Me (In My Own Words)
I was sick on and off for nearly a decade before being diagnosed with severe Mitral Valve regurgitation. I had a constant painful cough, shortness of breath, dizziness and fainting spells. I had to sleep sitting up because there was so much fluid in my chest cavity, that I had a rattle sound.
After a TON of research, I chose a porcine tissue valve. I had my valve replacement surgery on 01/24/2019.
