About Me (In My Own Words)
Hi all I had Mechanical AVR surgery on the 8th of October this year.
I'm 25 so after some discussion it was decided that a mechanical one would be best for me. Out of hospital now and staying with family. Physical Recovery has been good but emotional and mental health have been down. Just constantly second guessing myself if I made the right choice plus struggling abit with sleeping. Hopefully these things will pass with time but it just seems a long way off for now.
I found this group and hoped by sharing my story and worries it would help.
